About the Gallery

Art Gallery Linn was established in 2021 and is the second largest art gallery in Kristiansand. Art Gallery Linn displays a wide selection of contemporary art by international, national, and regional artists. The gallery's location is just two blocks from the city's pedestrian street Markensgate, at the corner of Skippergata/Festningsgata. Here you will find a 190 m² art gallery on two floors. Downstairs we have both an exhibition and banqueting / meeting rooms for rental for up to 12 people. The venue is newly renovated and welcoming. The building was designed by the famous achitect Thilo Schoder – a key member of the Bauhaus school.

Art Gallery Linn creates a new art experience by concentrating on original artworks where the focus is on quality, diversity, style, and depth. We have associated with many exciting artists from Scandinavia, and we have works by artists from Italy, Bulgaria, USA, and Africa. We focus on both visual art and sculpture, and we will hopefully start up our own lithographic printing press originating from Oslo - originally built in 1912. Here, artists will have the opportunity to print lithographs with limestone.

We sell and disseminate contemporary art in different styles and price ranges. We deliver art to private, corporate, organizations and public institutions. We can take on larger assignments, deliveries and assembly at hotels, institutions, and companies. Works are framed by our skilled partner Haavik Rammer og Kunst AS with Artglass (anti-reflective UV glass).

We do our utmost to highlight quality, and to create value and trust, for both artist and customer with our professionalism and expertise in contemporary art.
